The images are captivating, this story by The New York Times even more so…

This a a boat full of Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar who have been adrift for the last many weeks looking for a country that will take them in: Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia have refused to allow the boat to land. The 350 odd passengers of the fishing boat, told journalists of the The New York Times and BBC News that the crew abandoned the ship about a week ago. Many have died on the boat and their bodies thrown into the sea.

This is a crisis brewing in the middle of the Andaman Sea and not one country wants to take responsibility!

The cost of human life it seems is nothing.
