Are roads full of potholes making driving hell? Not just you, even the potholes are fed up!
Panama TV station Telemetro placed pressure-sensitive sensors inside cement craters throughout Panama City. Every time a driver ran over the sensor, it sent out a tweet directed at the Panama Department of Public Works. The handle @Elhuecotwitero sent out scores of tweets per day asking @MOPdePanama for answers and not without a dose of sarcasm.
This mind-blowing campaign called The Tweeting Pothole was created and installed by P4 Ogilvy and Mather for the channel.
The citizenry was quick to join in on the campaign, leaving the administration with no choice but to put the poor potholes out of their misery. And it forced the Public Works Minister to address the issue.
Hey, Indian Potholes…lesson for you here… the Monsoon is just round the corner… !
